Our Heritage A family company with extensive property experience spanning many generations

1850 - 1959

John Walls (Max’s Great Great Grandfather) was a prominent Rural and Commercial landholder in the Dubbo region of NSW. His son, Henry Walls (Max’s Great Grandfather) was an early Pioneer to Dubbo in rural New South Wales. He established himself as a Stock & Station Agent and a Wool & Skin Merchant, where he covered the entire state. Within the outback Sheep and Cattle Stations, Henry acted as the Agent for purchasing and exporting wool and furs to New York, London, and Asia.

Roley Walls (Max’s Grandfather) continued the family business in Dubbo in the Furs & Wool Trading. His son Dudley (Max’s Father) moved the business to Orange NSW, trading in Wool and Real Estate.

1959 - 1970

Dudley Walls obtained his Auctioneer’s license, which furthered the Stock and Station Property and Wool and Skin industry from the buoyant 1950s, to the 1970s. His eldest Son Max assisted Dudley, beginning to export to New York, London and Japan, as Wool and Furs continued as a leading commodity.

1977 - 1979

Max & Juanita Walls and Family maintained their existing Central Tablelands Wool business with more focus on the expansion of the Real Estate division. Juanita Walls took the family business in a new direction into Residential Real Estate and Stock and Station. The business became one of the most successful Estate Agencies in the Central West at the time, with Juanita heralded as one of the first female licensed Real Estate Agents to open an office.

1980

Max & Juanita Walls merge their businesses to focus more on Residential and Rural Real Estate sales and Auctioneering.

1986 - 1989

Anthony Walls & Murray Walls commence selling Sydney properties across the globe. The business grew so quickly with their contagious success to form Max Walls International, the first agency to service both interstate and intrastate Real Estate investors and Australian expatriate buyers living overseas. Their country approach fuelled the popularity of on-site Auctions in Sydney which were a roaring success. Over the next 30 years, the business would break many price records for their vendors, and they continue to hold many of those records to this very day.
